RoHS​

RoHS stands for Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances. It is the European Directive 2002/95/EC that published in the Official Journal of the European Union in February of 2003. This RoHS directive provides preventive measures on a legal basis to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in various types of new electronic and electrical equipment.

Siemon has achieved full RoHS compliance. Specifically:
• All Siemon products shipped to EU Member States from our factories are fully RoHS compliant
• All Siemon products are shipped in packaging marked with the designation to signify RoHS compliance

Siemon’s high-performance fiber optic cable and connectivity delivers a comprehensive solution set to meet nearly any network infrastructure need. The complete line of rapidly-deployed Plug and Play solutions support high speed applications in multiple density and performance level options. A comprehensive family of fiber enclosures combine with adapter plates, modules, and splice components to facilitate an attractive, easily-accessible installation. High-performance, factory tested jumpers, pigtails, and trunk assemblies are available in a wide variety of interfaces and configurations. Bulk fiber cable is offered in indoor, indoor/outdoor, and outside plant versions to support field terminated connections. Copper

Siemon offers an extensive, best-in-class range of copper products including Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7A and Cat 8.2 copper cabling systems. The selection includes our end-to-end Z-MAX Category 6A UTP and Shielded systems featuring PowerGuard technology, and the TERA category 8.2 system which supports up to 40 Gb/s applications. The product range includes twisted pair category cable, RJ45 and TERA outlets, field terminated plugs, pre-terminated trunk assemblies, patch panels, and patch cords in a wide variety of options.

Work Area

This extensive range of products support the installation of copper and fiber components in work area applications.
